What would you do?

What would you do when someone asked to stay in your house for a week but stayed for months?

What would you do when they started to disarrange your house for their convenience?

What would you do when they demand something else which is beyond your capacity to provide it?

What would you do when they demand so much of your time?

What would you do when you can’t go to your appointments because they don’t want to be left alone in the house?

What would you do when they demand to eat their breakfast, lunch and dinner on their own scheduled time rather than your own?

What would you do when you can't wake up early in the morning to cook for breakfast, they will text you and inform you that they are hungry already?

What would you do when they don’t eat the food you served?

What would you do when they woke you up in the middle of the night because they can’t sleep and want you to watch over them until they can go to sleep? (I’m talking about an adult here.)

What would you do when they always asked you to buy for their personal needs? (coz, sometimes buying for them is not part of your schedule)

What would you do when they ask to use your cellphone rather than using their own?

What would you do when they can’t take a bath when there’s no hot water?

What would you do when they take a bath for an hour?

What would you do when they try to get your attention by pretending they are sick?

What would you do when they only see you as the solution when there are plenty of options? (Not using common sense.)

*Sigh* What would you do for visitors like these?

Where's my shoe?

I asked my cousin yesterday to go with me to buy a new pair of shoes since the one I have is already damaged. We were so happy to see a lot of new styles and excited to fit every shoe that we find. There are many shoes that I like, but the sad thing is, it doesn't look good on my feet, so I have to find another one. I tried many shoes, until I find the one that fits me. I like it cause it's cheap, and very comfortable. So I went to the cashier and paid it.
After I left the cashier, I was wondering where my cousin could be. I was looking for her and I tried going back to the shoe area.. there she is... she was fitting another shoe. She was really so busy fitting. I told her that I will just sit down and wait for her to finish. I was just looking at her and she feel a bit pressured with my face waiting for her... so she approached me and asked me whether the shoe looks good on her. I said "Yes".. you want to buy that?... she said "Yes". But I told her it's a little bit big for her size, so she asked the sales lady to look for a smaller size. While waiting for the sales lady, she was fitting another shoe and came to realize that she has lost the other pair of her shoe. "Where's my shoe?, where's my shoe",...(nervous) she asked. Where did you left it? I said. We were roaming around the shoe area and were laughing to find out that her (old, dirty) shoe is already on display.... We're glad nobody bothers to get it..(lol)

One Year

It was a year ago,
that we both said "I do"
and we really can't believe how quickly time has passed.
It's been a happy year,
a year of truly experiencing God's favor and faithfulness...
We promised to love each other more today...
than just one year ago!

God is faithful!

I've been tagged by Lalaine, thanks ate Love for this tag.
Pay it Forward (Comments Edition)

Okay one precious thing a blogger just like me can get is a comment/reaction to a specific post you have made. And being friends with co-blogger is a great bonus! Why not put them together and make our virtual world pure fun and loving.
Just like the movie “Pay It Forward”, its all about good deeds and everything follows. . .
All you have to do is to give 1 comment to at least 3 person. 1 comment per post and as much as possible, make your comment relevant to their post so they get quality comment and not a “cute nice spam”. And then tag them to do the same. Note that You can tag as many bloggers as u want, which means you will be commenting on all of them too! Those who are tagged, should give back the love and comment on the site who tagged them.
meaning: 1st person (tag and start commenting) - - > 2 person (been tagged, give a comment back to 1st person, tag and start commenting) - - > 3rd person (been tagged, give comment back to 2nd person, tag and start commenting) - - until eternity - -

In Love...

Almost everyone can relate to the feeling of being in love. There are a lot of stories about people who are in love and we feel happy about them. But I am not talking about myself here or other people either… (lol) I’m talking about our dog Chocolate. Yes, he’s in love to our female Labrador Retriever, Bubbles.

Just lately, Bubbles becomes attractive to male dogs (I guess you know what I mean), and that makes our entire male dogs go crazy about her….. that includes Chocolate. He always want to stick around with Bubbles and always go behind her, and what amazes us is that, it’s been two days already and he is not eating… he wants to give his share of food to Bubbles.(Ohhh.. what a gentleman!) So, what we did was, we have to let him get inside of the house and allow him to eat his food. (this would make him focus on his food) He’s angry when the other dogs would come near to Bubbles. I ask my hubby, “why is he like that?”…“what happen to him?” hubby said… “I think He’s in love!"(lol. Funny huh!)

I suppose not all love stories have happy ending….looks like true for Chocolate. He has to let go of his feelings, given that he is not fitted for a female Labrador. He is only 10 inches tall and Bubbles is about 22 inches tall. They were not really meant for each other. What breaks his heart more is, Bubbles is already engaged to our male Labrador Retriever, Beamer… (picture on the left)

Don’t worry Chocolate, we’ll help you find your true love! (lol)(The sad lover dog.. :)

Holy Week

March 16 – 23 is considered to be the Holy week season for this year in the Philippines (I’m not sure with other countries). This is the time where people are more conscious about refining themselves. They try to refrain from sinning; from eating too much, some abstain from eating meat and the like …This is also the time where we can see a lot of performance of passion plays and the life of many people who do sacrifices which they think, might help them take away their sinfulness. Some people also take this opportunity to go on vacation and have a rest. This is the time where they spend quality time to their spouse and their children. The Holy week season ends on the celebration of Easter, the most significant holy day celebrated by most Christians.

During this array of events and activities, it is possible to overlook the opportunity to focus on the significance of this season. The real reason for the season is Christ. This is a great opportunity for all of us to understand fully what He has done on the cross. He died because of His great love for you and me. I read an article where Mel Gibson, the producer of the movie The Passion of Christ is interviewed, he said that the death of Christ on the cross was the substitute for the sins of each and every man and that one can only be right with God through the merits of Christ. I often saw a lot of people on TV, trying to crucify themselves and did exactly what Christ has done on the cross… but we need not to do this thing. When Christ died on the cross, he said.. It is finished!.. We need not to beat our bodies or crucify ourselves because He already gave it all.. For some people, this is the time for them to desist from sinning.. This is good!.. I remembered when I invited my friend for a gathering on Tuesday, but she refused because it’s already holy week? Why? What’s wrong? “It’s time for me to be good”, she said. Being good should not only be for the holy week… but it should be everyday…. living our lives pleasing the Lord. :)

Well, we might have different opinions about this matter, but I am just sharing what is in my heart…
"For God so love the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes on Him will not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16
A Blessed Holy Week everyone!!!

Chloe

Chloe is my husband’s niece. We are so fond of this little girl because she is so smart and very talented. Every time they come to our house, she never fails to call me and ask me to play with her. I wonder why, of all the people why me? (lol!) Maybe she thinks I’m one of her playmates… Anyway it's always fun playing with her. Just today, hubby and I went to her school’s Closing Program. We are so proud of her because she got an award, Academic Excellence Award.. wow!!! Aside from that, her teacher asked her to sing for that event. Of course, we wouldn’t want to miss anything in the program.. so I took pictures… her mommy took pictures too and her daddy took video… (what a stage tita, stage mom, & stage dad..lol..)
Chloe's sang "Torete" with her daddy as the guitarist.. She sang so beautifully, you could not imagine at age four she can now hit the right keys... and doing some adlibs like Ohh.. whoo... (lol!) I think it's in the blood, coz her mom is a great singer and her dad is a talented musician. .

Waiting for her turn to be called for the Nursery girls princess dance number.... I wasn't able to take pictures when she danced because I was so amazed with her development in dancing... and I wanted to concentrate on the beauty of her dance. I remembered before she can't follow simple dance steps maybe because she was still young then, but today she really showed her talent in dancing.

Sister Chloe together with her classmates also gave another dance number... dancing like Whoopi Goldberg in the movie Sister Act.

Dancing is not over yet... All of them gave a dance finale of the song "I believe"... The program ended with a song from all students....
The activity made our little Chloe hungry... :)
Congratulations Chloe!!!

Found it!

As I was about to do my blog hopping.. my husband asked me about his necklace. I told him I didn’t see him wearing necklace today. But he said that he was really sure that he put it on. But where could that necklace be??? That’s the big question now. I looked at the watch is already 11:00pm. So, I have to stop my blogging thing and look for that necklace… I remembered later on while we were in the church office I make fun of him touching his neck but there was no necklace at all.. I told him of that incident, and that made him recall that as he parked the car, he noticed something fell down but he never paid attention to it. So with that clue, we went back to the church office, that’s 15-20 minute ride from our house. While we are inside the car, I kept on praying and hoping that we can still find that necklace… Hubby is so confident that we can still find it since, it’s already night time and people are already sleeping…

Arriving at the place .. my heart beats faster and I tried to make eyes bigger and bigger for me to really find that necklace. By the way, that necklace has sentimental value because it was a gift from her mom. I felt hopeless given that it’s very dark. I was about to surrender of that search operation (lol!), but thanked God my hubby found it. Wheew… what a night!

Pedometer

My mother in-law bought this milk which is so popular in their TV ad “helps fight osteoporosis”, she bought this milk not because she was convinced with their ad but it has a free Pedometer. The pedometer is already attached on the box of the milk and mom bought 3 boxes of it and gave one pedometer to me.

A pedometer is a step counter device that counts each step a person makes. It has now become popular since this is now used by many people as an everyday exerciser and motivator. A total of 10,000 steps per day (equivalent to 5 miles or 8 km) are recommended by some to be the benchmark for an active lifestyle, although this point is debated among experts.

As I was cleaning the house today, I remembered the pedometer mom gave me. So, I put it on my hips (as stated in the instruction given) and started walking and moving around the house, at the same time doing my cleaning stuff. As I was moving around the house, I realized that I haven’t done physical exercise for such a long time, and this made me more motivated to really pour out my energy ... (naning kaau! lol) After a few minutes, I tried to check my pedometer and see how many steps I have completed. As I look at the pedometer I was really surprised… it has recorded only 8 steps.. Whaaaaat??? How come? What happened? … I asked my husband to check if there is any faulty on it…
After all the hard work today, I found out that the free pedometer is not working.

Crossword Puzzle

I got this blogthing while I was reading ate Janet 's post. Here it is: What kind of puzzle am I?

You Are a Crossword Puzzle

You are well read, and you have a good head for remembering facts.

You are a wordsmith. You have a way with words, and you're very literate.

You are a mysterious person who enjoys dropping little clues every now and then.

I love playing crosswords.. especially the easy ones..(lol) but when I encounter difficult clues I usually call my husband to help me...(lol). Playing crosswords online is one of our best bonding moments with my husband and my mother in-law. We helped each other and give compliments to whoever provides the correct answer. We usually stayed until midnight just to complete the set of puzzles for the day. Why don't you try it.. it's fun!

Weekend Snapshot # 1: "Chocolate"

To join this weekly meme, click here

This is "Chocolate". We were not the real owners of this dog, but we are the one who is taking care of him now since his real owners are busy with thier work. Most likely Choco is now ours.. sometimes his real owners Ken and Anna (my in-laws) just borrowed him for a day or a week. We were not quite really sure of his breed, but he is more likely to be a Havanese.

We have been busy last month since there were relatives who stayed in our house for quiet a long time.. and my husband and I realized that Choco has not taken a bath since we had visitors in the house. So, our weekend was spent in the house with our doggies.. giving them a bath. (I will mention the other dogs in my next post) Chocolate is so fresh now ... Look at the pose.. I think he is proud that he is clean now.. (lol!)

A Chat With My Classmates

Today was supposed to be our midterm exam for our Measurement & Evaluation class. But our teacher did not come to class because she was sick. So my classmates and I decided to just go out for awhile and go to the nearest mall (LimKetKai) and have a sort of "chikka-chikka" about life. We decided to eat ice cream and French fries at McDonalds... while we were eating, we started to share our life stories…

We started to share stories about our love life…crushes in the classroom (lol..), first impression of each other… and I am the only one who sharing to them about married life given that I’m the only one in the group who is married. At first, our conversation was never serious at all, it is just for the sake of making everyone laugh and making everyone make at ease in the group since we were not close at all and this is our first day-out together. The conversation goes on and on… moving on to the more serious ones. We talked about our plans in life… career.. and etc. One classmate shared about how afraid she is to ask God about letting His will to be done in her life , because she is afraid that God’s will might not be what she wants.. She has so many plans and many options for these plans to happen in her life. That statement made our conversation more heartening… all of us exchanged opinions and thoughts about what she said… and made her say.. “Oh, why do you make me cry…”(she almost cried..he.he.he.)

My classmate statement made me realize that all of us do not first of all appreciate God’s plan in our lives. God’s plan is this… but we want it the other way around… It all boils down to our trust in Him. Trusting God in relation to our plans is just like walking in the middle of the cave.. and not knowing that at the end of the cave there is a bright light ahead of us…God said “ For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future…

To my classmates … M.. A.. S.. & C.. God’s plan is always and will always be for our best… Thanks for the wonderful chat! God Bless you all…
