Just Us Girls!

It’s good to be with my husband most of the time. But sometimes, when we were in a mall, I could never have a glance of the things I like to look at because he always wants to be in a hurry. Aside from that, he doesn’t like to be hanging around in the ladies section. So, I end up just being his chaperone. (LOL!). That is why sometimes, I wish to be with my girl friends. I like to have a "just us girls day out" but I guess that wouldn't be happening now because I'm married and most of my friends are busy with their lives. I just end up hanging around with my female cousins and my aunt and there presence were truly great. I just love every interaction we had, talking about our nails, our hairstyles, how fat or thin we were, and anything and everything under the sun. I guess this is also important for all of us women. We need someone who could relate to us and someone who will also share the thoughts, feelings and joys of being a woman, a wife and a friend.

I am so blessed to know that God has been and will always be doing everything for my own good. I remembered the last time when I really have asked him of something that I really want. But sad to say, God did not give it to me. I felt very sad and there was pain in my heart. But God allowed me to feel his comfort and made me understand that He is not a God who doesn’t give but a God who knows what’s good and best for me. He is the giver of all good gifts.

This time, whenever there are things that I have asked which I felt He didn’t grant, I am not anymore sadden because I know that God knows what’s good for me.

Birthdays…Birthdays…

Most of my love ones and relatives celebrated their birthdays this month. That is why I would like to greet these special people a BLESSED HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

1. July 5 – My Uncle Jessie’s Birthday (My mom’s younger brother).

I wasn’t with them when he celebrated his birthday, but I asked God to bless him on his special day.

2. July 6 – Claude’s Birthday (My Brother)

I wanted to see him on his special day, but he said he had training. Instead of me giving him a gift on his birthday, he’s the one who gave me a gift. It was a cute cellphone… Thanks so much bro for the gift. I am planning to also give him a simple gift when he comes back to CDO City.

I thank the Lord for a brother like him!

3. July 17 – Ptr. Raul’s Birthday (Our Beloved Pastor and my Uncle)

He invited us to a special dinner at the hotel. The dinner was unique because Pastor is now health conscious, so most of the food served where really healthy food, but all of them were so yummy!!!

I thank God for his life, he is such a blessing in so many ways…

4. July 17 – Lebbeus Chloe’s Birthday (Pastor’s Son…my cousin)

It was his 6^th birthday. He celebrated his birthday with his classmates sharing burgers from Jollibee. He is really a lovable kid. One thing I like about this child is he is very obedient.

5. July 18 – Chloe Alexandra’s Birthday (my niece)It was her 5^th Birthday. She had a princess themed birthday. She even dressed like Princess Belle of Beauty & the Beast. She celebrated her birthday at school and we also had dinner at their house. I had so much fun opening her gifts... Lots of food and lots of gifts! She’s truly blessed.

6. July 22 - Kuya Jinggoy's Birthday. I don't know about his plan for his birthday. He is in Vietnam, but they will be coming here in CDO by the 24th. Hope to see you kuya... celebrate daun ha! (lol!)

7. July 24 - Ate Bem's Birthday (my aunt). I don't know how she will celebrate her birthday. I hope it will be a happy birthday for her.

New Sleeping Pattern

My hubby is back to work now, that means we have to sleep early at night. We have to sleep not later than 11:00 o’clock in the evening. This is very early for both of us because we usually sleep at 2:00 o’ clock in the morning. Sleeping early cancels all the things I enjoyed doing at night. We can’t stay anymore for long hours at night in the computer… that includes my blog life (lol!) We can’t anymore watch the late night news on TV, and we can’t have midnight snacks and talk a lot of nonsense at night. Sleeping early means we have to wake up early. It’s really a miracle for me, because I am now waking up at around 6:00 o’clock in the morning.

But here’s the good news… waking up early in the morning makes me really productive. I can cook for my husband and do some house chores, and at the same time grabbing some opps online. Also, there is an exception to that rule. We can sleep late on Fridays, because there is no work the following day. That is why I am still up tonight. (lol!) I hope I can adjust well with my new sleeping pattern.

Snail Mail

Are you still into snail mail? Most people are not into this stuff anymore because of the technology we have nowadays. We often communicate through emails or even text messages.Last week, I received a mail from a long time friend. I was really surprised why she sent me one, when in fact we communicate through emails and text messaging. As I opened her letter, she wrote, “you might be surprised why I wrote you, I just felt like sending you this… just like in high school…” I was so happy reading her mail. I also felt like I’m in high school as I read the letter. Her letter gave me an idea, to also brighten my friend’s days by sending them mails. Isn’t it nice?

My friend sent me a text message yesterday informing me that she will have another mail for me by next week. Wow! I’m so excited.

Come Home Early!

I was on a training yesterday when my husband sent me a text message saying “come home early today, coz, you’ll be blogging forever!” I was so happy with the message. It means we already had a wireless internet connection. Yippee! I was then excited to come home early.

As I went home, I was shocked because I thought we don’t have electricity. All the lights were off. The house was so dark… I wonder where hubby could be? There he was at the room, with his face glued at the PC. (LOL!) I thought I’ll be the first one to use the PC, but I guess I am not the only excited person here.

I’m so happy with the new connection now. It motivates me to really come home early!
