Custom Domain Problem

I purchased a custom domain last night and I was so excited to try it out. After the confirmation, I wanted to set my blog on “Publish on a Custom Domain” but there was an error…. “Another blog is hosted in this address”. I immediately asked my cousin about it and she told me that it’s the same problem she encountered before. She gave me some links of the forum that might help me with the problem and read through it. What I have learned from there was to just disable Google apps and Web Services. But according to the recent post I’ve read, it is no longer usable. I even tried to use the Magical Custom Domain Form in order to solve the problem.

I don’t know what to do with this problem anymore… can anybody help me with this? Help please….

An Astronaut and a Pilot?

Nope! nope! my hubby is not an astronaut. (LOL!) I made this using a Photo Fun software to make my husband smile because he was irritated with the slow internet connection we had. What makes him mad is that, this is always happening... So, to make him cool down a bit, I made this and I show it to him. He was laughing... and said.. "Oh, the hands and the head are not in proportion. I said, never mind I just want to make you smile. I also added, do you want to see yourself as a pilot? Here it is... and he smiled again and said, why are you always making fun of me? (LOL!). I will also have to make fun of you, he said. So better get ready with my revenge... ha.ha.ha. Thank God, he forgot about the slow internet connection.

Bible Stories

When I was still in grade school, I’m excited to join my afternoon class because there’s this old lady who volunteered to share Bible Stories to us. She was a retired teacher and she wanted to share God’s love by reading Bible Stories to children. Now that I am teaching in a Christian school, it is also my utmost priority to share God’s love to my students by sharing to them lessons in the Bible through Bible stories. All of these stories reflect modern day scenarios and one of the best stories I like is the story about Daniel in the Lions Den. This is an amazing story that teaches my students to become prayerful. This story not only teaches us to pray, but it also reminds us that God is our refuge in times of trouble. It’s a story about how God answers our prayers and most of all it is a story that teaches us that God’s protection is always upon us. There’s truly great lessons learned in Bible stories.
If you want to Find out more about Bible stories and Theatre Church, Cinemeetings & Events brings the first-ever Theatre Church Conference in Silver Spring, MD on October 22, & 23. Find out more Bible stories that relates your life’s experiences. Come and join and Find out more about this wonderful opportunity to learn from God.

The Moon

I was looking at the sky the other night and noticed the bright shining moon. I was fascinated with its beauty so I decided to get my low tech camera and started to capture a nice shot. As I was looking at my camera, I was disappointed with the picture I took. I can’t see the beauty of the moon, but it’s only something like a dot. Again I tried and I tried but the result wasn't really nice at all. So here’s the photo I’ve taken. He.he.he.. Does it really look like a moon? (LOLl!)

Feeding the Doggies

It has been my husband's task to feed the dogs, but since it was his birthday yesterday and I wanted him to be free from house chores, I did the feeding even if I'm a bit scared that the dogs might attack me. We have five dogs, 3 of which are really big dogs and feeding them is not an easy task. The hardest part of feeding them is that they become sometimes unruly and very excited to eat. As I was feeding them, I was so happy that the dogs were very behaved and did not gave me a hard time at all. Just that, I felt pity for them because I felt that their food wasn't enough for them. I guess I will have to cook more for them. (lol!)

Domain or Shoes?

Last Sunday as we were going to church, my husband took noticed of my noisy high heeled shoes. “Why are your shoes so noisy?.. Will you please walk properly..” He said. I told him that my shoes are already damaged… (slightly damaged) He just looked at my shoes and kept silent. By the way, these shoes were his gift to me when we were not yet married, probably 3 years ago. Even though it’s damaged but I still like to use it because it’s very comfortable to my feet.

At night, we were talking about my blogging career and I asked him to please buy me a domain for my blog, coz I couldn’t purchase it using paypal. He told me, which one you like me to buy for you? A new domain or a new pair of shoes? I hurriedly answered… BOTH! (lol) He smiled and told me… “Oh no…. can’t!!!

Faithfulness in Little Things

I have always been reminding myself and my husband about this all the time … ‘be faithful in little things”. This was also the lesson we have learned from today’s preaching. Most of us are so eager to desire the things that are big, things that are great, things that are enormous. Even to the simple sharing of pizza slices, we tend to desire to have the biggest slice. That is most of the time our nature as a person. Being faithful in little things is being able to appreciate everything God has given us. We are so easily tempted to desire those things we don’t have and end up not appreciating all the blessings God has given us. We need to be grateful for all the things God has given us. Before God will give us the big things in life, he first sets our heart. That is why God always starts with little things to prepare our hearts for greater things. So don’t despair with the little things you have right now. Learn to appreciate all these things and use it all for God's glory.

"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much;and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much." (Luke 16:10)

A Child's Heart

I was making fun of my friend’s daughter today. She’s already eight years old and she’s now in grade 3. She’s a smart girl and could easily ride up to all the jokes I cracked. After all the funny talks we had, I asked her one serious question. I told her, your mom told me that you we’re crying the other day… why? She said it’s a secret and she will not tell it to me because her mom might scold her. I told her not to be afraid because her mom already told me what happened. She then quickly told the story. She said she was so sad the other day because when he went home from school his father wasn’t there already. She also noticed that their front door was shattered. Her mom explained it to her what happened and she understand that her mom and dad had a fight that day. I asked her, “what did you do when you find out that something happened in your house?” .. I went inside my room and cried secretly. I really cried that day. Every time I remember my dad, I couldn’t help it but cried…

I was so touched with how she feels that day. I can feel her pain and I felt pity for her because at her young age, she already knew the feeling of how it is to be in pain. I just comforted her to always pray to God for her parents. She answered, “I’m always doing that every night and God answered my prayers. Today we even went to the mall and ate together, she added.

We can never really underestimate the heart of the child. Sometimes we thought they are too young to understand such big matters but the truth is, they can already understand when things are not going well.

To all the parents out there, before you burst out your emotions make it sure that your kids are not around. You may feel good expressing it, but you might end up hurting your child’s heart.
