Off for Another Adventure

Tomorrow will be an exciting day for me. I'll be on a zip line adventure together with my relatives and some church friends. We'll be going to Dahilayan Adventure Park, a place that is known as the Asia's longest dual zip line. It's an adventure park where it gives you the opportunity to fly like Superman. My uncle told me it's a very nice place to relax and bond with the family. As of this moment, I'm not really very sure if I will fly like Superman tomorrow because I am really very scared of heights. My only reason of going there is to visit the place and see if its really nice. I've searched their site today and I've found some great photos and videos that truly excites me.
This photo gave me mixed feelings... I'm excited at the same time I'm scared. LOL! Anyway, I'll have to find out tomorrow whether I will try this or not.

Word-filled Wednesday: Acts 4:31

After they prayed, the place where they
were meeting was shaken.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit
and spoke the word of God boldly.
Acts 4:31

Prayer truly changes everything. It changes us, it changes others. It calls on God to change the circumstances. It brings healing, salvation and hope... so, let's pray, pray, pray!

I'm Beautiful and I'm a Winner!

Two weeks ago, I attended a two-day seminar/conference on leadership entitled “Failing Forward” Turning Mistakes as Stepping Stones for Success. It’s a seminar sponsored by EQUIP Philippines. Every lesson in the seminar was based on John Maxwell’s book “Failing Forward”. It’s a very encouraging seminar as it gave me great inputs on how to respond to failure. I have learned that when we experienced failure, what matters most is our right attitude.

One of the things that made me laugh during the conference was when the speaker asked the question… “How do you see yourself?” “Do you see yourself as a winner?” Only a few answered. So the speaker called us to stand and utter these words loudly with all of our hearts … “I’m beautiful and I’m a winner!” Everyone laughed and can’t even utter the word BEAUTIFUL. When we get to the word WINNER everyone was shouting… I’m a Winner!” LOL! The speaker even added that everyday we will have to do this. We'll have to face the mirror and utter this phrase.. I'm beautiful and I'm a winner! I guess everyone of us were just shy to say about it but deep in our hearts we believe that in God’s eyes we are all beautiful and we are a winner!

Can you say that to yourself today?

CK's Day

Today is CK's (my nephew) first birthday. His mom and dad prepared a super fun party for him. Barney the purple dinosaur and Spiderman were his special party guests. I was so amused to see CK when he was able to meet Barney. His face looked really surprised and it looks like he has seen a very big stuffed toy. Spiderman showed his tricks too but CK was all the more attracted to Barney. They hired a party coordinator who will be in charge of the children’s game. There were lots of games and all adults who were there in the party also joined the games. It was fun to see those adults feeling like kiddos again. Anyway, CK’s mom must have been very busy during the preparation of his birthday. It’s not very easy to prepare events like this especially that you will consider a lot of things like tokens, prizes, and invitations. CK had a very nice invitation made by her mom. When CK becomes a grown up and plans to get married, I'm sure he will not be looking for cheap invitations because His mom can handle it. LOL! Why am I talking about getting married when this little kiddo just celebrated his first birthday. Anyway, his mom's hard work truly paid off as all of the guests enjoyed his birthday celebration.

Thank You Auntie Grace!

Last Christmas, my Aunt Grace of Amazing Grace gave me two Christmas gifts. She told me that her gifts were her labor of love from her blog income. Wow, I'm so touched! She calls me her blog mentor because she consults me whenever she have some blog inquiries. I'm not that knowledgeable about blogging but I thank God I am able to help here in my own little way. But guess what! She's now earning MORE from her blogs compared to me. LOL! Anyway, here are the gifts she gave me.
A Yellow Tote - This is so cute and lovely. I like it very much!

Yellow Sandals - I'm size 7 but this size 8 sandals really fits me well.

Thank you so much Auntie Grace. God Bless you!
