Refrigerator Magnet Collection

When I had the opportunity to visit a friend’s house in Malaysia, I was surprised to see her refrigerator packed with all kinds of refrigerator magnets. It comes with different designs and styles and most of it was bought from the different parts of the world namely United States, London, Japan and etc. She is so fond of collecting refrigerator magnets and when her friends find out that she’s collecting this kind of stuff, all her friends are so supportive about her collection. Whenever her friends find refrigerator magnets in one of their travels they don’t fail to buy a refrigerator magnet for her. I was curious about her collection and checked them one by one. I checked to find out if my country Philippines was there. I was so happy to see a cute jeepney refrigerator magnet. She told me, it was given to her by a Filipino friend.

I admire her for having such a unique collection. I can barely see her refrigerator because it was already covered with beautiful magnets. I can’t imagine myself having that kind of stuff because it’s very hard to find a unique and stylish refrigerator magnet same as hers. Her collection is also an indication that her friends truly love her because of the many refrigerator magnets she got from friends all over the world.

Currently at the Hospital...

Our plan of going to the beach was postponed. Instead, I was brought to the hospital because I was all the more weak. I was having difficulty breathing due to my asthma. Now, I am her at Polymedic Medical Plaza and I thank God I am feeling better now. The doctor told me yesterday that I am good to go home today but last night I had another asthma attack which made the doctor decide to let me stay for a while. He told me earlier this morning that my asthma is so irritant that despite the medication he still can't predict when will the next attack to happen. I am hoping that I can go home tomorrow, so that I will not be shocked when the hospital bill comes. LOL! Anyway, I am always expectant and thankful for God's overflowing provisions...

To all my family and friends who visited me, thanks so much for giving your time. To all who prayed for me thank you so much... I truly appreciate it. For all the people who have assisted me here in the hospital, your lives are truly a blessing. Times like these increases my awareness that God truly loves me because he surrounds my life with good and caring people.

To God be the glory!

(P.S. Special thanks to my in laws Ken and Anna for letting me borrow their SmartBro, my life in the hospital is a bit colorful now because of FB and blogging.LOL! Thanks for your generosity.)

Going to the Beach

I'm sick right now with colds and cough. Thank God the fever has already subsided but my nose is congested and I can't smell anything. Later this afternoon, I ask hubby to drive me tomorrow to the beach as seawater has good effects on the body especially if you have colds or asthma. So, hopefully tomorrow I'll be off to the beach to take a dip and will have to take a rest after.

A Blessed Man

All of us wanted to be bless by God. In all our prayers, we never failed to ask God that he will bless us. But what does Psalm chapter 1 told us about the blessed man.

Psalm 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

A blessed man does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, does not stand in the way of sinners, does not sit in the seat of mockers. A blessed man delights in the word of God by meditating on it day and night. He is like a tree planted by the streams of water, always firm no matter what problems he may encounter. A blessed man is a man who is always fruitful and he is always a blessing to other people and whatever he does prospers.

Do you want to experience the life of a blessed man? Let's live our lives pleasing to God and living a life that truly attract the blessings of God.

Fun at the Beach

Yesterday was my grandmother's 81st birthday. We all went to Medina, Misamis Oriental to celebrate Nanay's birthday. It was a wonderful opportunity for all of us to bond together and have fun at the beach. The Capistrano Beach in Medina (beside Duka Bay) is a wonderful beach resort as it is not too crowded and their facilities are also clean. They also have the bottom glass boat and that's what we enjoyed the most. Nanay was very happy to see all of us in her very special day. Although we never gave her expensive presents but her smiles and laughters truly expressed what was really inside her heart.
