No Internet Connection

It's been four days now and we still don't have our internet connection. I called our internet provider last Monday and she said that they can't tell when will the connection get fixed because of server problems. I called their office this afternoon and sad to say nobody was answering my call. Hmmmm... looks like they are trying to avoid phone calls. I just wanted to know when can I have my internet condition back but no one is answering the phone. If this can't be fixed the soonest, I think I'm going to find another internet provider. What can you suggest?

When it is payday, my cousin would buy something for his dad. Usually she buys small stuff but it can make his dad very happy. Sometimes his dad would ask him to buy a cigar but he tries to forget it because he wants his dad to be conscious about his health. Recently, his dad remembered his cigar request. Domain Renewed

I just renewed this blog's domain www.bogieswonderland.com today. It will expire on October 18 but I have it renewed in advance so I won't forget it when the deadline comes. I should be happy with the renewal but not until I got this email:

Zumba Fitness

I have recently read a thread on Facebook on moms talking about how to trim down their bulging bellies. One mom mentioned about Zumba fitness, a Latin inspired dance fitness program.

I saw one video in Youtube and I tried the Zumba fitness basic steps. I am not a dancer but I find the moves and techniques very simple. It’s a fitness program that is basically more on dancing and their body rocking steps will make you forget you are exercising because it’s so much fun.

So if you want to have a new fitness program for yourself, why not do the zumba zumba! You will surely have fun.

Me a Nurse?

I wanted to make fun of my husband and I want to edit a photo of him at face in hole dot com. I wanted to put his face on Bruce Lee but I had difficulty editing the picture.

While browsing on different photo scenes, I saw a nurse on scrubs. I uploaded my photo on it and I was laughing when I saw my face.

That’s me wearing nursing scrubs. Do I look good on it? The picture looks obviously edited but it’s just for the sake of fun. I can’t believe I can be a nurse just for one day. LOL!

Hoping for a Life Saving Heart Surgery

Four years ago, my husband was diagnosed to have Mitral Valve Prolapse. On our first medical check up to the cardiologist, he underwent echocardiogram or 2D echo and we have learned a lot about MVP; a heart condition where the valve that separates the upper and the lower chamber of the heart does not close properly or basically known as a heart murmur. 

My husband works as a Project Engineer in a construction company and because of this illness he finds it difficult to perform his tasks because he frequently experience shortness of breath. Added to that, he also had palpitations and chest pains. The symptoms were overwhelming that he decided to resign from his work. 

Everyday he’s been experiencing MVP symptoms and there were times he doesn’t want to go out of the house because the symptoms distract him when he’s driving. Socializing with friends and relatives and going out on Friday nights were not anymore his priority because he felt like he can’t breathe when he is talking to friends. 

I am hoping he can have a mitral valve repair so he can enjoy life to the fullest. But the recent technology on minimally invasive mitral valve repair is not yet available here in our country. Until now, my husband is still experiencing MVP symptoms and he is just learning how to manage it in order not to complicate his condition.

Going to China

I’m currently preparing right now…

I’m not going to China, but I am preparing my lesson for my class this afternoon. Our lesson is all about the country - China. We will be talking about the country’s flag, famous landmarks, the foods and we will get to know the lifestyle of the kids in China. That is why I am currently gathering photos for the kids to see in our class this afternoon. I’m sure they will enjoy the lesson as they will have the opportunity to see real photos of what is in China.

Changes Coming...

I've read about this article just this afternoon and I was surprised with the changes that PPP will be doing starting this February. I hope the changes will be beneficial for all bloggers. Anyway, here's an update about the changes. :)

The Oppapalooza PPP promotion currently in progress has been a great thing for us as a company. We are seeing increased activity across the board and overall I am very happy with the results. Every indicator points to our pricing change as being a positive thing, though I think we have some adjustments to make.

Oppapalooza ends the last day of January. On February 1st the following changes will be deployed:
1. The minimum cost per Opp will be set at $2.00
2. Changes to the TOS and PPP system will allow bloggers to take up to 3 sponsored posts per day and 4 link-only posts per day.

I am hoping this adjustment will provide more flexibility for advertisers and bloggers moving forward. Thank you all for your feedback and participation in guiding this decision.

Thoughtfulness in Marriage

A week ago I attended a two day couple’s retreat. It was a great learning experience for me as I have learned so many things especially that I was in a group were couples were already married for 10 years or more.

One of the issues discussed by the wives during our groupings was that their husbands were not anymore thoughtful. They seem to forget birthdays, anniversaries and other special events. It was a healthy discussion because the husbands responded that they need to improve on this aspect. Because of too many concerns, husbands tend to forget about those special events. 

Talking about being thoughtful, next month is going be hubby’s birthday so I need to find birthday gifts for husband as early as today. I hope I can find something that he really likes. I need to show that I am thoughtful so he will also be thoughtful. LOL!
