Tile Flooring for My Home

A year ago my husband and I decided to have our floors tiled because I easily get allergies from dusts that sticks with our floors. For affordability, we wanted to install a vinyl tile on our floors but for easy maintenance and long term purposes, we opted to have a ceramic tile as our flooring.

I am now very happy living in a house with a tiled floor. I don’t have problems when it comes to cleaning because a tiled flooring provides ease of maintenance. Spills and other dirt can easily be wiped up without the use of any special cleaning solutions or wax. For health purposes, I find it a healthy choice to have a tiled flooring because dusts can easily be cleaned as they won’t stick on the floor. I can say now that, I don’t usually experience asthma attacks and allergic rhinitis more often because of a clean flooring.

If you think having a tiled flooring is a bit expensive, then you are wrong. Actually, you can choose different kinds of tile options you want for your house. In my case, I chose those ceramic tiles which are nice as well on Sale. I bought my tiles at 40% off. You can choose a specific tile design that will suit your house design. You can also choose a wide range of colors, patterns and sizes. You can even mix and match tiles to come up your own unique design.

How to Win Your Partner

Married couples have a lot of adjustments to make for keeping a healthy married life. It is a 24 hours a day and 7 days a week of changing yourself in order to become the right partner for each other. That is why sometimes we find ourselves to have misunderstandings even to the least important matters. Wives tend to be sensitive to certain issues and sometimes get too emotional. One example of this is when husbands spend more time on their workplace and has no more time with their wives, expectedly the wife reacts. What would you do if situation like this occurs?

If a situation like this happens, it’s time to win your partner around. Winning your partner is like having a Victory Hair. A victory hair is like when both couples have the same nice looking styled hair, and as they looked at each other magic happens between the two of them. In the process their hair gets pretty messed up but still they look good with each other because they are both happy.

For husbands, here’s how you can win your wife. There can be many steps but these three are the steps I find effective.

Step 1: Talk to your wife and admit your faults and weaknesses. Don’t forget to mention the word “I’m sorry” even if you think you are not at fault at all. Say it and mean it.

Step 2: Spend Time with your wife. As the author of an article said, couples believe that finding "extra" time "just to be together" is about as likely as walking out in the backyard and finding a one-carat gemstone. Make sure that you protect this time from all invaders and marauders, which include the phone, work, household chores, and of course your children.

Step 3: Make your wife a priority. God has given you a marriage, and keeping connected with your spouse is very important—and it takes time as well. If you are too busy to spend time with your spouse, then you are too busy.

Why don’t you try these steps and be excited to see a happy marriage working.

Which One?

A parent of my student is looking for a cheer leader outfit in the mall and she can't decide which to choose from the two outfits she saw at the mall. To make it easier for her to choose, she took a photo of the two dresses.

The first is the pink mini skirt dress. The color looks very attractive and it suits perfectly for children.

The second one is a blue cute dress. It looks a bit formal so I told her that I choose the pink one. If you were the one to choose, which dress would you choose for a cheer leader outfit?

I Want to Be an Equestrian!

We had our field trip at Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon last November and one of the activities that the kids enjoyed was the horseback riding. They were very happy to have experienced riding a horse. The pay for every ride was a bit expensive that is why they only had a single ride, but if money wasn’t an issue I’m sure they will have horseback riding until the end of the day.

After the ride, the kids were very happy and all of them can’t stop talking about their horseback ride. One of my student who doesn’t want to ride at first was all the more very happy with her experience. She even told me that when she grows up she will become an equestrian.

When she told me about her ambition, I can’t think enough but imagine her wearing equestrian apparel, riding a horse with all confidence. I know it would take a more years to see my student becoming an equestrian, but I am happy to know that she has now some dreams in mind considering her young age.

Fashionable and Comfortable Scrubs

If you had your visit to the hospital lately, you would notice that a lot of our nurses today wear fashionable and colorful scrubs. Not only do they look so attractive, their scrubs look comfortable too. I guess some of them are wearing cherokee workwear scrubs, a preferred scrub of my friend who works as a nurse in the US. According to her, she like the scrub from Cherokee because it’s not only comfortable but fashionable as well. If you will try to read magazines, you will find out that it’s one of the top ten strongest brands in women’s apparel. No wonder why it is the favorite of healthcare workers especially in the United States. I’m sure most of the nurses in our local hospitals have this one too.

You Look Familiar!

A few weeks ago, I met a lovely lady. When I first met her, I found her face so familiar and I was figuring out where I met her. I told her “You look familiar, have we met before?” She smiled and told me that I looked familiar too. She even told me that maybe, I am her lost sister. I believe she was just joking, but at the back of my mind I was thinking that she really is my sister (from a different mother). My heart jumped for a while, and I entertained that thought… maybe she is my sister… I asked her family name and I found out she isn’t my long lost sister. However, that meeting was the start of our good friendship.

All About Military Challenge Coins

Have you heard about Military Challenge coins? Perhaps some people know about these and maybe some do not. These military challenge coins are known to date back several decades. As introduced, many stories or legends circulate about the origin of military challenge coins. The most popular story about military challenge coins concerns a United States service man in World War I. This pilot was shot down and then captured.

When this pilot was captured, the Germans stripped the service man of all identification. However, around his neck in a leather pouch the pilot carried a military challenge coin given by the squadron leader. A short time later, the pilot escaped to France and the only form of identification he had was the military challenge coin. This then started the tradition of giving military challenge coins to service men. These served as another form of identification. And this birthed the primary purpose of military challenge coins at that time.

Busy in School

As much as I wanted to update this blog but I am very busy with school work. We need to prepare for our upcoming activities for the next month and we will need to have more meetings. Today we had Nutrition Month Celebration in school and tomorrow we will have Parent's Meeting. Next week, I'm going to have a lot of meetings (school and ministry) and I hope I will have the strength for these activities. For now, I am just thankful to God for the opportunity to serve Him through the lives of the children and their parents.
