We started to share stories about our love life…crushes in the classroom (lol..), first impression of each other… and I am the only one who sharing to them about married life given that I’m the only one in the group who is married. At first, our conversation was never serious at all, it is just for the sake of making everyone laugh and making everyone make at ease in the group since we were not close at all and this is our first day-out together. The conversation goes on and on… moving on to the more serious ones. We talked about our plans in life… career.. and etc. One classmate shared about how afraid she is to ask God about letting His will to be done in her life , because she is afraid that God’s will might not be what she wants.. She has so many plans and many options for these plans to happen in her life. That statement made our conversation more heartening… all of us exchanged opinions and thoughts about what she said… and made her say.. “Oh, why do you make me cry…”(she almost cried..he.he.he.)
My classmate statement made me realize that all of us do not first of all appreciate God’s plan in our lives. God’s plan is this… but we want it the other way around… It all boils down to our trust in Him. Trusting God in relation to our plans is just like walking in the middle of the cave.. and not knowing that at the end of the cave there is a bright light ahead of us…God said “ For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future…
AMEN!! may you continue to be a blessing to your friends =)
“ For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future…”
