If I may look back and evaluate how my year 2008 was, I would say that it was quite a good year for me. It was a year of living a life of faith, fully trusting God on his promises. It was a year of learning a lot from the Lord. God made me learn a lot of lessons from my family, friends and relatives. There were also bad times, and bad experiences but I consider them all as an opportunity to strengthen my relationship with the Lord. It was an opportunity to experience the His goodness and faithfulness in my life. I cannot say that it was a perfect year, but I believe all were arranged by God according to His purposes. I may have some regrets, doubts or even worries for the coming year but I believe God has prepared a lot of great things for me in 2009. In order for us to move on for 2009, we need to learn to forget those things that doesn’t make us productive. This includes our pains, sturggles, worries, regrets and bitterness. This also the best time to forgive and forget. Let us also continue to press on towards our goal, no matter what it takes.
Philippians 3: 13 –14 “… But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”
