During our school’s closing program my students were given the opportunity to tell about their ambition in life. They will say the phrase “When I grow up I want to be a…”. Most of the boys like to be an engineer when they grow up. The girls wanted to become nurses someday. One girl caught everyone’s attention because she wanted to become a super model.
During my graduation in Kinder we also did the same thing. My mother was the one who helped me practice the phrase and all I wanted to be when I grow up is to become a nurse. It is because the nurses before were very sexy and they really look good wearing nurses uniforms. But things change when I was already on the stage. I was thinking about my mom and all I said was “When I grow up, I want to be a teacher”.
True enough I am a teacher now. I find this profession a great opportunity to be a blessing to others especially the younger generation.
