Guitars in Cebu

Cebu is one of the places in the Philippines which is known for creating quality yet affordable guitars. Since Spanish period, the guitar-making industry in Cebu is already established. Guitar shops are located at Lapu-Lapu City and you can find any guitar of your choice from these shops. 

Before buying a guitar, make sure you already have a list of preference for your guitar. You can choose from ovation guitars, semi- acoustic guitars and classical guitars. Make sure also to check the craftsmanship of each guitar. If you are not so sure about it, the perfect thing to do is to bring someone who is good about guitars. My friend, who had her recent trip to Cebu, brought home a blue acoustic guitar. It was a birthday gift from her dad. It was a nice guitar and we are now using it in our church. 

In your next visit to Cebu, you might want to check the guitars on sale. Just make sure you do your assignment before buying one.

Setting Up a New Community Center

One of our church goals is to put up a community center that will provide programs and livelihood projects in the community. Last year, we have put up a community center in Nazareth and this center has been a blessing in the community by providing affordable pre-school education as well as providing small time businesses with the people in the community. As of this time, the community center is on the process of developing more programs that will be beneficial for the people around the community. Just this week, we are so happy to set up a new community center along upper Balulang CDO City. We are excited to serve the community with programs that will surely be of help to them. We are still on the process of preparing the place, repainting the walls, repairing the ceilings, knobs and placing tubular handles on the kitchen area. Hopefully by the end of this month, we will be finished with all the preparation.

Going to Camiguin

After the local elections I will be going to Camiguin for a couple’s retreat. It will be a day of learning about marriage and most of all a day to have fun and enjoy the beauty of the island. Some of my companions will be bringing a lot of stuff like travel yoga mat, clothes, gadgets but as for me I have decided to travel light to I won’t carry heavy bags while exploring the entire island.
