“My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death assail me.Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me.
I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest-
I would flee far away and stay in the desert;
I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.”
Psalm 55:4-8
This verse reminds me that in times of fear, in times of trouble the Lord will be our refuge and we can truly find rest in His presence. He is our place of shelter in times of storm. For this week I came up with this list of things to thank God for:
- I thank the Lord for His presence everyday in my life. I thank Him for every moment that His comfort was upon me. I thank Him for I can always express my heart and my sentiments to Him.
- I thank God for the answered prayers truly He is faithful.
- Thank you Lord for your continued provision. Truly I lack nothing.
- Thank you Lord for renewing my strength day to day.
- I thank the Lord for a family that loves me no matter what.
Thank you Lord for everything. No words could ever express how much I am thankful for all the things you have done in my life.
